Appointment Policy

Our practice operates by appointment only so that each patient receives the right amount of time to be seen by our veterinarians and staff. That's why it is very important that you keep your scheduled appointment time with us and arrive on time.  We understand that emergencies arise or plans change.  When you know you can't make it to your scheduled appointment, please call us right away.  Its easy to reach us at 936-295-8106.  Veterinarians across the country are experiencing increased appointment requests, which makes it more difficult to get an appointment when you need one.  Since it is more difficult than usual to schedule a veterinary appointment, pet parents may call multiple offices, grabbing the first available appointment.  We want you and your pet to get the veterinary care you need, and understand if you choose to opt for an earlier appointment.  But if you have made a scheduled appointment at our office, we just ask that you call right away to cancel if you find veterinary care sooner.  This way we are able to offer that appointment slot to another anxious pet parent/client and pet in need.

To make an appointment please contact us at 936-295-8106. You may also request an appointment via our website with the understanding that we will do our best to accommodate your requested day and time, but the appointment is not reserved until you receive an email or phone call from a staff member.

Please do not book online during an emergency or if your pet’s condition is severe. Instead, please call us directly or contact an emergency clinic so your pet gets the urgent care it needs.

**If your pet tends to get nervous or aggressive at their visits please notify us when booking your appointment**

Missed Appointments: If you fail to cancel your appointment, it will be considered a ‘No Show’ and you will be charged a 'Missed Appointment" fee.  If you fail to cancel your appointment within a timely manner, you will be charged a 'Late Cancellation' fee.

Morning appointments  (appointments before 12pm) must be cancelled by 3pm one business day before to avoid a late cancellation fee.  Afternoon appointments (appointments 2pm and after) must be cancelled by 10am the day of appointment to avoid a late cancellation fee.

Missed appointment fees must be paid prior to scheduling future appointments for your pets.

Missed Surgical/Anesthetic Appointments:  Surgical/anesthetic appointments require 24 hour notice cancellation to avoid missed surgical appointment or late surgery cancellation fees.

We would like to thank you for working with us so we may accommodate all of our patients.  We truly appreciate your thoughtfulness and your patience, and please know we are doing everything we can to offer quality veterinary care in a timely manner.

  • "Wow! Thanks to all the staff at Huntsville Pet Clinic. I feel like you all truly love what you do! My kitty, Lola and I always have such a pleasant experience when we come in. Fortunately, it’s usually just for a check-up, but I would not leave Lola in anyone else’s hands but yours. Thank you for your caring commitment!"

  • "I have benefited tremendously from the care my pet received from Dr. DuVall."
